Location and arrival

By car

You can reach Unterwössen via the A8 motorway between Munich and Salzburg. Near the Chiemsee you will find exit no. 106 Bernau am Chiemsee. Leave the motorway there and turn left onto the B305 towards Marquartstein and Reit im Winkl. Follow the road via Bernau, Rottau, Grassau and in Grassau at the roundabout behind the church drive straight on over the roundabout (second roundabout exit) towards Marquartstein. Follow this road for approx. 1.7 km to the end (only possible on the right or left) and turn right there. You will pass the village of Marquartstein and come to Unterwössen. Drive through Unterwössen until you reach the Aral petrol station on the left-hand side. Turn left immediately after the Aral petrol station. Then simply follow the green and yellow signs.
